What to expect on your first visit at Healthwise chiropractic
All of us at Healthwise chiropractic want to make your first visit (and all the others) as wonderful and welcoming as possible. If this is your first appointment with a chiropractor, we are eager to help you prepare for a great experience. Look through the following information, and, as always, just call if you have any questions for us.
On your first visit , you will meet with our doctors for a consultation, exam and motion study xrays. Your results will be reviewed and prepared for your second visit where a custom care plan will be created for your specific condition and goals.
Our system is unique because we specialize in determining the cause of the problem and finding a solution through corrective care, rather than a short term temporary fix.

Consultation and Examination with Your Chiropractor
Our office staff will receive your forms and then you’ll have a consultation with your chiropractor, Dr. Issagholyan. She will ask you many questions about your injury, how it happened, your medical history, etc. You’ll also receive a thorough, multi-faceted exam, including:
- Tests specialized to determine the nature and root cause of your pain or injury.
- X-rays may also be necessary to determine if there are other underlying causes we need to know about and to create the most precise, effective treatment plan for you.
Chronic Pain Relief? Sports, Work or Personal Injury?
After our chiropractor evaluates your tests and medical history, you’ll also receive the most appropriate initial treatment for your condition. Your first treatment may include:
- Chiropractic adjustments
- Physiotherapy (soft-tissue treatments)
Before you leave, your chiropractor will discuss at-home therapies to continue, and you can schedule your next appointment with our friendly staff.
